Riff exercise

This exercise helps you sing fast, smooth note sequences

This one’s all about singing quick little notes right after each other, not easy, but with practice, you’ll gain control. The key? Breath support and vocal flexibility. You want those notes to flow smoothly, almost like one continuous motion.

Start with an 'oo' sound, but feel free to switch it up with other vowels or even small words. Don’t push or force anything, use your breath support. That means low breathing, and instead of tensing your abs right away, engage them gradually. Pick the sound that feels most comfortable for you and take it from there.

With time and consistency, you’ll notice your voice becoming more agile, smooth, and responsive, and that’s what we’re aiming for.
