This isn’t my specialty, but I can definitely help get you started. Riffing! Singing lots of embellishments around a single note. Just like Mariah Carey does, or Tori Kelly, Sam Smith, Ariana Grande, Stevie Wonder, and… I could make an insanely long list of riff kings and queens.

We’re going to practice your flexibility; the smoothness and often the speed with which you move from one note to another.
