Fast and easy
This is an exercise to gain control over your breathing and to experience how you can take quick, short breaths when you sing without them being too deep. The goal is to train your body to breathe efficiently, using just enough air without overexerting yourself, helping you maintain better breath control while singing.
The idea is to breathe in very naturally, without forcing it. Keep it relaxed and effortless. Focus on short, gentle inhales that don’t feel too deep, just enough to get the air you need. This will help you stay relaxed and in control while singing.
If you don’t do it properly and take in too much air too quickly, you can end up feeling lightheaded or dizzy. That’s why it’s important to focus on natural, controlled breathing—taking in just enough air without overloading your lungs. This way, you'll maintain balance and avoid discomfort while singing.
This is an interesting way to learn and experience that you can take short breaths between phrases without any issue. It helps you understand that you don’t need to take a huge breath each time—just a quick, natural inhale is enough to keep you going. This also allows for a smoother, more controlled delivery when singing!
